These are Excellent cases

I have 3 of these cases. The Cases are capable of holding very large acoustic Archtop Guitars, such as a Gibson L5. These cases are perfect for displaying your prized possessions. They allow for quick access to the instruments. These are NOT built like bank vaults. They are built to hang on your wall and enclose your guitars. They give moderate protection. I personally think they are Excellent cases for the price. They are very nice looking cases. The front is made of plexiglass. During shipping, the plexi can become detached from the frame. Just press it back in and reapply the rubber molding. They will last a long time, and display your prized guitars with a sense of class.
They are NOT vaults. But they are also not $500 to $1000 either. You absolutely get more than you pay for here.

VERY cheaply made

Got the box yesterday which seemed in good condition, opened it up and found that the display case's acrylic front was pushed in and hanging by the flimsy gasket. I was able to repair this myself by removing the gasket, reinserting the acrylic and the gasket. One of the locking latches doesn't lock, again very cheaply done. The backing felt has improperly stapled areas in four places causing visible bulges in the felt. On the outside of the cabinet the finish is acceptable except for some obvious blemishes from tooling. I expected a better construction for this price. I am going to keep it and try to salvage what I can from it. Also the guitar hook sent won't work with acoustic guitars unless you want your guitar to rub against the felt while hanging. My experience is that dyed materials might leach the coloring from the felt into the instrument's finish unless the dyeing process is really done well. So am I please...no...but I'll make this work because I have no more time to deal with it.
